We have managed to get a date for a get together with Bridget and Bette her mum who is a wealth of knowledge of the Norland area, they are visiting from NZ. Details are as follows:
Friday 10th August from 7pm at Norland Church, the lovely Linda and some other ladies will make cakes and lay on some nibbles. Bridget has brought lots of old photos with her and I for one am very much looking forward to meeting them both and finding out some stories. The graveyard will also be open and hopefully we can get some family histories for people connected with the area.
We thought donations to the church for anyone who attends and for refreshments.
